I would like to testify that I have known Milan Koláček well for several years, as I have worked with him on projects at the Lorient Grand Large sailing base and raced alongside him in the Rolex Middle Sea Race 2023 on my JP54 yacht in the Mediterranean.

Class 40

This attractive race class was created in 2004. Its aim was to bridge the gap between smaller offshore yachts such as Classe Mini and Figaro and IMOCA boats for solo round the world racing.

The best testimony to its success is the fact that since 2004 more than 160 yachts with the signature of the best world designers have been registered in this class. In many ways, Class 40 has succeded in giving direction for current offshore racing yachts to follow. The newest protoypes of this.
